Young people have classes twice a week in municipal schools<\/i><\/strong><\/h4>\n

After school hours, many children return home and have no other activities to do. With parents at work and without a guardian to take care of, many go to the streets to play, but this can be a risk. Public roads can expose young people to a world that is marginalized and full of dangers for family life.<\/span><\/p>\n

Last week, Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Ajud\u00f4u started the Ajud\u00f4u Tim\u00f3teo Project, developed in partnership with the Municipality of Tim\u00f3teo, which offers free Judo classes for children and adolescents, aged 7 to 17, enrolled in the public school system and in of social vulnerability, during the period of one year.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cCarrying out the Ajud\u00f4u Project in Tim\u00f3teo makes us happy twice. First, because it is an opportunity to do what we like and what we are most specialized in doing, which is to welcome these children and adolescents, bringing hope, joy, strengthening citizenship, through sport, in this case, Judo. Furthermore, Tim\u00f3teo is Ajud\u00f4u’s “home”, it was where it all started, so with the signing of this agreement with PMT, we further strengthen this link with the Association’s origins, making this partnership “special”. In this new cycle, we will serve 600 children and adolescents\u201d<\/span><\/i>, says the technical director of Ajud\u00f4u, M\u00e1rcio Andrade.<\/span><\/p>\n

The project aims at development as a whole, as, in addition to the classes, socio-educational lectures are held on various topics, such as: oral hygiene, prevention of domestic accidents, the environment, among others. The uniform is given to all students for full participation.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe activities carried out bring numerous positive impacts to the beneficiaries, such as the development of fundamental values such as respect, discipline and cooperation, in addition to reducing school dropout and improving the behavior and commitment of students at school. We like to say that our projects transform lives by offering affection, welcome and hope to thousands of children and adolescents in situations of social vulnerability\u201d,<\/span><\/i> says Juan Rachid, coordinator of the Ajud\u00f4u Tim\u00f3teo Project.<\/span><\/p>\n

Classes will be held at Municipal Schools: Angelina Alves (Bela Vista neighborhood), Clarindo Carlos Miranda (Macuco neighborhood), Ana Moura (Vale Verde neighborhood), Novo Tempo (Novo Tempo neighborhood), Jo\u00e3o Bolinha (Cachoeira do Vale District) and APAE (Timirim district).<\/span><\/p>\n

There are still a few places available, to register, the interested party only needs to look for the secretariats of the benefited schools (above).<\/span><\/p>\n

Covid-19 Protocol<\/b><\/h3>\n

To carry out the assistance, without putting children and teachers at risk, the<\/span>Protocol for Resumption of Sports Activities at Ajud\u00f4u in the context of Covid-19<\/span><\/a>. The Ajud\u00f4u manual aims to pass general health safety rules against Covid-19.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Below are some examples of guidelines:\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n
