Transforming the reality of children and adolescents through sport is one of the Ajud\u00f4u Association’s goals. Due to low income, many families do not have access to the practice of sports because of the cost that this would generate on the household finances. Therefore, the development of social sports projects across the country are of paramount importance, because from the moment that young people have contact with the concepts, virtues and sports practices, they have the possibility to form their character and have a different future, otherwise what you would have if you were on the streets.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhat happens is that outside the school environment, there are not many possibilities to practice sports and when there is, it is not financially accessible for most of the population. Thus, many children and adolescents have nothing to do in the after-school shift and often end up having contact, unfortunately, with the world of crime, illicit drugs, among others. The purpose of Ajud\u00f4u is to give this public the opportunity to have free access to quality sport with all the necessary infrastructure for its practice. Thus, for 26 years we have already served more than 23 thousand students in various sports, offering a healthy and educational environment for its practitioners, strengthening citizenship and values such as respect, discipline, patience and solidarity\u201d, reports the Technical Director of Ajud\u00f4u, Marcio Andrade.<\/span><\/p>\n

In order to continue promoting the inclusion of young people in situations of social vulnerability through sports, Ajud\u00f4u, with the support of the Renova Foundation and the Naque City Hall, concluded the registration for the Gol Nota 10 Project, which will be carried out in the municipality and will begin in next week. The sports project is completely free and will benefit 150 children and adolescents (male and female) between 7 and 17 years old. Being executed in the form of field soccer, the program will last for one year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Full uniforms for the rolling ball<\/b><\/h3>\n

The student’s self-esteem is developed during all stages of the project. An example is the uniform kit that each one will receive, containing: uniform (shirt and short), boots and socks, considering that these make a difference and provide a better experience in sports. Classes will start on August 17th and will be held in the <\/span>Barros\u00e3o Municipal Stadium<\/span>, on Tuesdays and Thursdays (twice a week), always in the students’ school shift, lasting 1 hour.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt is important to include the student in the project and provide all the necessary structure to develop the modality well. In addition, this material provided by the project (uniform, soccer shoes, new balls, etc.) brings dignity to the student, makes him feel comfortable and confident to do his best and change the course of his life. Children often do not play sports, because they do not have materials for the practice and many dreams are interrupted there. Our goal is to change the lives of these children and adolescents through sport\u201d, says the coordinator of the Gol Nota 10 Project, Gunter Campos.<\/span><\/p>\n

Protocol for Resumption of Sports Activities at Ajud\u00f4u<\/b><\/h3>\n

The Ajud\u00f4u manual aims to pass general health safety rules against Covid-19. \u201cToday, each city has its reality in the face of the pandemic. Before sports classes start, our manual goes through the municipal commission and receives adaptations to meet that reality. All in synergy with the medical professionals in the benefited territory\u201d, highlights Bruno Granato, Communications and Institutional Relations Director at Ajud\u00f4u.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to the manual, the sport classes will also be adapted according to the local reality. Ajud\u00f4u’s guidelines are within a reality with social restrictions that can be revised. In some cases, classes may be hybrid or even online.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
